NBA Committee visit scheduled on 17th,18th and 19th of April 2009.

Events

A) TriCx'08 -: Department of Information Technology organises the technical event named TriCx in the first semester of every academic year. This event includes technical competitions such as C beginners, C Experts. During the course of this event department has also conducted a seminar on Linux as an event of TriCx. TriCx'08 also included gaming competitions like NFS Most wanted, FIFA 08, Pocket Tanks. Quiz (non technical) too was at TriCx'08. TriCx'08 was a grand success as compaed to TriCx'07.

Details of TriCx '08 -: There were total 6 events included in TriCx'08.

Basically, only students from Sinhgad institutes are allowed to take part in this event. No student from any college that does not belong to the STES can take part in TriCx. So the response for TriCx'08 was very good.

B) Excelsior'09 -: It is for the second time that all the departments of Sinhgad college of engineering have joint hands to provide a technical feast to all the techy buffs of the nation in the form of a national level technical event EXCELSIOR'09. The birth of this event was possible because of the hard work and sweat put in by the students of the departments

* Bio-Technology

EXCELSIOR'09 is a fusion of both Technical and Non Technical arena providing a platform to encourage talents. There are approximately 55 technical and non-technical events to be organized during a span of 3 days – 26th,27th,29th Feb`09.

This isthe first time that the Indoor Badminton competition was organised.
