ITSF Information

The Information Technology Student's Forum(ITSF) -- a coeducational, privately endowed student's forum -- is dedicated to advancing knowledge and educating students in science, technology, and other areas of personality development  that will best serve the nation and the world in the 21st century. The Forum has more than 15 faculty and 100 undergraduate students.

Mr. A. W. Rohankar along with Mr. Y. D. Deshpande, the Forum's  founding Staff, believed that education should be both broad and useful, enabling students to participate in "the humane culture of the community" and to discover and apply knowledge for the benefit of themselves as well as to society. His emphasis on "learning by doing," on combining liberal and professional education, and on the value of useful knowledge, continues to be at the heart of ITSF's educational mission.

ITSF's commitment to innovation has led to a host of various break-throughs and technological advances. Achievements of the ITSF faculty and undergraduates have strengthen the whole structure of IT department.

ITSF has forged educational and research collaborations with other departments,  throughout the college, and draws its faculty and students from every corner. The result is a vigorous mix of people, ideas, and programs dedicated to enhancing the student's wellbeing.

Most (95 percent) of the activities conducted on the ITSF campus is supported by the students of the IT department.
